Maternity Portraits - Queen Elizabeth Park - Vancouver BC Based Photographer
I must say that Queen Elizabeth Park never fails me as a beautiful location to shoot. This stunning mother to be was a little leery of her first professional photo shoot but as you can see she looked gorgeous in front of the camera. She also appreciates mother nature as a background as much as I do. Check back in the fall for her newborn shoot.

Crescent Beach Wedding - Vancouver BC Based Photographer
This was a pretty special wedding for me as it was a younger sister of a lifelong friend and the wedding happened five days after my father passed. It was a great way pull myself out of my sadness for the day and do something that has always brought joy to my heart, photography. I made the bride promise me to not ask me how I was for the day and I did really well until the end of the night when she danced with her father. That brought on the tears. Now with Father's Day this weekend I am lucky to have memories of my Dad walking me down the aisle at my own wedding many years ago. He gave me strength to power through this wedding and I hope to keep making him proud into the future. The sun came out just in time for this outdoor wedding and made for some beautiful photos. They were a pleasure to shoot.

Family Portraits - Vancouver BC Based Photographer
I'm starting to dig myself out of the backlog of work over the last few months. I continued to shoot a little while my father was ill but sitting at a computer to edit was something I could not focus on. So many beautiful pictures coming your way.
I'm extremely lucky to work with some genuinely nice families. This portrait session was an engagement family portrait combo because they already shared a daughter and when you see her cuteness you will understand why we included her. It is always a great way to get to know each before the wedding day and understand just how comfortable they are with the camera. This family had no issues. The "magic hour" light contributed to Queen Elizabeth parks beauty. Enjoy.
