I LOVE (EARLY) SPRING - Vancouver BC Based Photographer

If you live in Vancouver you noticed signs of spring in February.  I actually saw flowers coming up before the Olympics had even started. I love going out on my own to enjoy the warm weather, the nature and always with a camera in my hand.

Hearts are Wild

On April 15, 2010 an evening of Texas Hold'em poker and entertainment will be happening at the Heritage Hall on Main Street. This premiere event will raise funds for Canadian Hadassah-Wizo and the Hadassim Youth Village in Israel. This village houses and educates children and youth who have witnessed or been a victim of domestic violence. I am one of many individuals or companies donating prizes to this event. To see the complete list of amazing prizes for the night go to their facebook page. See all the details in the flyer below, click on the flyer to view larger.

Gold medal faces

So I must admit that the best thing about being downtown after the gold medal hockey game was all the great characters rooming the city.  I'm  a huge costume lover so I love it when people don't have to wait until Halloween to bring out their other personality.

Hockey Gold for Canada!!!!!! Part 2

It was crazy downtown after the gold medal hockey game was over.  I walked with friends into the city down Cambie Street onto the bridge, which was closed due to the closing ceremonies.  They had turned one side into a parking lot for buses and the other for pedestrians something that will never happen again.  It was amazing to see in person. It was all about waving your flag, yelling at the top of your lungs and high-fiving any stranger that walked by. IT WAS REALLY FUN!!!!!!

Hockey Gold for Canada!!!!!! Part 1

Yesterday was so fun. Not only did Canada get the results they had hoped for in hockey but I got to experience it with some really close friends at their house and then with about 150,000 strangers downtown Vancouver.  The stress of watching that games was almost more than we could take. YAH CANADA!!
