I'm loving all the beautiful pregnant women coming my way this summer. Its such a happy time in a couples life as they get ready to welcome their first child. We had a beautiful summer night at Granville Island and with the long weekend we had no crowds competing for our locations.

I'm a big believer in what goes around comes around so when I got a call from Mark to do some pictures for his mother as a Christmas present I was more than happy to help him out. I walked into Mark's work last summer stressing about my husbands birthday surprise and boy did he help me out. A total stranger who liked my gift idea for my husbands 40th and did what he could to make it happen.

I think one of the nicest compliments I can receive is to be asked to photograph a family over and over. Not only have you made a connection but they appreciate your style of photography. A bigger bonus is watching the little ones grow.

Here is a little preview of my session yesterday with the soon to be parents. It was a gorgeous sunny day in Vancouver yesterday, today and tomorrow so finding time to be home to edit is hard.

Night at the Island

Granville Island is amazingly peaceful at night.
