Vancouver Aquarium Part 1
Can you believe that my best friend who was born and bred in BC has never been to the Vancouver Aquarium? I know its kind of hard to believe. So when she came down from Whistler for her birthday this week we made a date with the fishes and all the other creatures living there.

Sushi with Hank
I love my friends. They are really creative, crazy and ridiculously fun to hang out with. They are also spread out all over the province so when they come to Vancouver even just for a few hours it makes me so happy. The newest addition to our group is also the cutest and like every BC kid he likes sushi even if he does not eat it yet.

Lets play
I had a nice little visit with my sister and niece today. I unfortunately have no toys here for her but I do have lots of costumes and accessories. Things I hope she will enjoy as she gets older.

Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely mothers out there but especially mine. Mothers sacrifice so much of themselves for their children, which is something I did not appreciate during my teenage years. My poor mother during those years. Last month I held a contest for a free portrait session and a single mother of two Joelle Thorburn was the winner.

Hotdoggin Part 1
For the last three years a very talented friend of mine, Ace MacKay-Smith, has hosted “Hotdoggin” at the GLC in Whistler, BC. Her list of talent and skill are endless especially in the year of the Olympics. The Olympic theme carried into this year’s party “Own the Sodium” with the usual events ski ballet, lugging, limbo, hot dog eating contest, etc. Along with prizes medals were rewarded made of meat presented by beautiful medal presenters and cheered on by appreciative fans. Nothing like a Whistler party filled with amazing friends.
